The First Lady celebrated her 48th anniversary a few days ago, with the French President, Emmanuel Macron and his First Lady, Brigitte, coming to wish her a happy birthday. After witnessing a lavish dinner for the state, the president already prepared a somewhat simple and quiet surprise birthday moment for Melania Trump.

Donald Trump intimated Fox on the phone that morning on how he thinks they could mark his spouse’ birthday. He said he’d prefer to avoid going into details else he might find himself in a mess because he didn’t buy Melania many gifts but a lovely birthday card, and that’s due to his tight and extremely busy life. He got too held up in his business to remember searching for gifts, he said. He, however, bought her a lovely card coupled with some wonderful flowers.

The president was also proud of Melania’s outing in France, saying that she was fantastic there. He further said that the France communities were enchanted by President Macron’s deeds.

Melania Trump was all dazzling in her evening wear of a customary lacy gown of Chanel in black Chantilly, designed with crystal, sequins, and painted silver by hand. She appeared in the elaborate dress at the state dinner, which was also graced by President Macron and his wife, Brigitte. The dinner was held at the White House.

The two first citizens of the United States, President and Mrs. Trump, entangled their hands in an odd manner when the French leader was around. In a video that recorded the moment, Trump was seen patting and gripping Melania’s hand for sometime before it finally dawned on her and she then returned the gesture.

Those who are familiar with the couple knew that such affectionate gesture was not new to Trump and his wife, who had done the hand-locking game many times in the past. There was a time in 2017 when they both traveled to Israel and while Donald tried holding her hand, she brushed away his gesture.

A similar thing happened in March during a visit to Italy, Melania avoided her husband’s romantic attempts, then the most current one was when both of them were strolling towards a Marine One board on their way to Ohio last February and she deliberately declined him that day.

Who is Melania Trump?

Melania Trump was born in 1970 as Melanija Knavs. She became the official First Lady of the United States of America on the 20th January 2017. Melania has her birth root in Novo Mesto, Slovenia.

She worked in the fashion industry as a model in collaboration with many outfits mostly in Paris and Milan before she relocated to New York about 22 years ago during her courtship with Trump, and he was even the facilitator of the shift, bringing her family along with her. She got connected as a model to Trump Model Management and Irene Marie Modelsa afterward.

Being a Yugoslavian, her American citizenship would have been difficult but her marriage to Donald Trump in 2005 made the process easier because one year after, she got her citizenship, although she was already a permanent occupant since 2001.

How It All Began

A party was organized in 1998 by one popular socialite and the two potential lovebirds met there. At that time, Trump was mainly into real estate business. This was a period when Trump was still recovering from his separation from his ex-wife, Marla Maples, a split that occurred in 1997.

At the get-together, he’d gone there in company of a woman by the name Celina Midelfart. Midelfart had to answer the call of nature at the ‘ladies’ restroom, so Trump seized the opportunity of her absence to move closer to Melania and requested for her contact. After the encounter, the duo kicked off their love affair from there.

The current First Lady had worked with various fashion firms, granting photoshoots to famous lifestyle magazines like Vanity Fair, Vogue, New York Magazine, and Avenue, among others.
