Legend Calls Trump a Racist, as Kanye West Stood By Him

The Brotherly Love from the West
A few days ago, social media communities and the entire internet users were awoken to an endless barrage of tweets from Kanye West. In what can be called the start of an outcry battle, Kanye West initiated an agitated debate after posting on his Twitter page that he’s supporting Candace Owens.
Afterwards, his colleagues in the entertainment industry and lovers of music came into the frenzy to also air their views via the social platform. One of the artists who voiced out his opinion was Chance the Rapper, who showed solid support to Kanye’s view when he tweeted that Kanye was right.
The Grammy Award holder, Chance the Rapper, moved into the arena of the discussion last Wednesday, further setting off an already-heated hailstorm caused by Kanye West’s raving on Twitter. Chance expressed his respect for President Trump.

Kanye West was on Twitter to praise Donald Trump on his personality, calls him a man with a ‘dragon energy’.
He tweeted that the black community doesn’t necessarily need to join the democratic movement, indirectly saying that Kanye West’s points of view are good enough even if he’s supporting a Republican government. He then added another tweet saying that the coming president of the United States would be an independent leader.
Now, the most interesting part is that Kanye West also mentioned the former president, Barack Obama, openly eulogizing Donald Trump while criticizing the former leader. The father of 3 expressed his admiration for Trump but for Obama, he tweeted that he didn’t achieve anything nor was he able to execute any plans when the former president was in office.
The Obama issue emerged after he ranted on political matters when he established Twitter agitation which started the day before and went on till Wednesday. Kanye said people may not like or be in tune with Trump’s administration or even his personality, but no matter the size of his opponents, he (Kanye West) will continue to love him and nothing can stop that.
He said he and Trump have the same type of energy which he called the “dragon energy”. He referred to Donald Trump as his brother, even though he loves everybody yet he doesn’t support all the things done by everybody. The individual nature of doing different things separately makes it natural, he can’t like what everybody does, wrote Kanye West. He went on to say that everyone has the privilege to be different in his or her thought.
Afterwards, he posted a picture of a hat which has the inscription, “America must be great once more’, and looked like it has the president’s signature on it. Later on, President Trump went online to appreciate Kanye for his love and praises, saying that his actions were really cool.

Chance the Rapper believed that every black Americans cannot be under the democratic party, so Kanye West has every right to support Trump
John Legend is Displeased
However, John Legend, the iconic R&B artist, didn’t seem to be a fan of Kanye West in this matter. He once featured with Kanye West sometime ago and he also shared his thought on the ongoing raging tweeting agitation.
In his own tweets, he said he loved the fact that big and intelligent musicians possess the power which enables them to envisage the coming generation of a country, but at the same time, artists must not pretend not to know the deep truth. He went on to tweet that Trump is an obvious racist whose defining attributes during his campaign, even evident in his political credentials, center on making the white man to rule over the society.
He doesn’t hide it whenever he addresses people in public, says Legend, very loud and clear. He believes that Kanye is suffering from an acute condition of cognitive dissonance which made him to overlook that aspect but decided to focus more on other things he thinks Trump has achieved.
Trump’s Comments

John Legend is not pleased with Kanye West’s support for Trump whom he viewed as a racist
He had previously shared some posts on the issue of racism before the last ones, where he’d said that he envisaged a comfortable feeling that comes with seeing a coming generation where there would be no racism, and bringing that vision to the modern days. He thinks when people ignore or pretend as if the truth is not there, then it may not be there at all.
The story of history has been wiped off, says John Legend, and working with its effects is not necessary. Furthermore, the music legend said in his tweets that notwithstanding, a lot of individuals don’t like to shut their eyes not to see the truth nor ears not to listen to it either, because they know the impact of the matter.
