The company, based on the prices in the locale, calculated how much it would cost you to have an overnight royal experience, laying your head where so many nobles have done before. And as we can all guess, and correctly so, a royal night doesn’t come cheap!

The rooms in the 52-bedroom palace would have you part with $4,657 per day, while the garden would cost you $552,000. As for the staterooms, 19 in total, $20,877 for each of them would do them justice.

Doing the math, it becomes fathomable how the Palace is worth well over a million per day. But it’s a palace for crying out loud. We shouldn’t even be surprised!!!

Though thinking about it is undoubtedly building castles in the air, the experience would be worth every dime. To say that Buckingham Palace is luxurious would be a massive understatement, seeing as it’s the Queen’s residence and also doubles up as the monarchy’s headquarters.

The expansive piece of property boasts of an impressive 775 rooms, complemented with a swimming pool, movie theatre, medical center, and a mail room.

Standing tall and wide, a stay in the royal palace is worth a million bucks a day

As if it’s not glamorous enough as it currently is, the Palace is now under renovation, a venture that is estimated at around $482.5 million and could take as long as a decade! We shudder at the thought of how magnificent the place will be!

However, the makeover was actually a safety measure as opposed to a beautification one and was necessitated by a report that the Palace could be particularly vulnerable to fire and water.

You Could Still Visit

Although the idea of having rooms in the Palace available for renting may remain just an idea, its state rooms open their doors to the public each summer. You could still have your much anticipated royal visit! The Palace would most certainly appreciate your visit as it receives more than 50,000 guests annually.

The property’s importance in running the affairs of the monarchy cannot be undercut. In all its splendor, the building almost literally holds the United Kingdom in place.

Each week, the Queen seeks the Prime Minister’s audience, and the two along with other relevant parties ponder on matters arising and how best to move things forward.

Additionally, all foreign ambassadors are received here, maintaining strong ties between the monarchy and the rest of the world. The Queen can’t isolate her kingdom now, can she?

Away from its administrative duties, the Palace holds a special place in Queen Elizabeth’s heart. She welcomed her first two sons Princes Charles and Andrew here, and notices of their birth are still on display for the public. With these two now all grown up, the Queen looks to the Palace for memories when they were kids running around and making a mess of themselves.
