Maggie Smith, Born In 1934 – Harry Potter

Maggie Smith is well-known for her roles as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter series and Lady Violet Crawley on Downton Abbey. However, in a recent interview she had with ES Magazine, Smith mentioned that while she was grateful for every role, these two roles weren’t ‘satisfying.’ It does break the hearts of her fans, but we will continue to love her. One can judge the 85-year-old’s talents by looking at her awards, which include Academy and Emmy Awards. It appears that Smith has no plan to retire any time soon because she even starred in the Downton Abbey movie in 2019.

 

 

Lee Majors – The Six Million Dollar Man, Born in 1939

Born in 1939 in Wyandotte, Michigan, Lee Majors started his career as an actor in 1964. He rose to fame in the ‘60s with his role on The Big Valley as Heath Barkley. Lee is also known for the TV series The Six Million Dollar Man from the ‘70s and The Fall Guy from the ‘80s. He was also in ScroogedThe ProtectorPrimary SuspectBig Fat LiarFate, and others.  He was married four times, has four children, and is still making money as an actor and voice actor. Lee was most recently seen on the TV series Ash vs Evil Dead (2015-2018) and the TV movie Bicycle in 2018.

Robert Redford, Born In 1936 – The Sting

Robert Redford is a very important personality in the acting industry. After his acting debut on TV in the ’60s, he made the transition to the silver screen where he starred in numerous blockbusters such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. His biggest success came in the 1973 film The Sting, for which he earned an Academy Award nomination. He founded the Sundance Film Festival. With a top health insurance, he’s preparing for his last film, The Old Man & The Gun, expected in 2018.
