Influencer Jeffree Star is one of social media’s most successful stars. The 34-year-old beauty mogul started as a personality on MySpace and was actually aiming for a music career in the beginning.

He was actually pegged as the ‘next Lady Gaga’ before he switched paths and turned to the makeup industry. Now, Star has his own cosmetics company ‘Jeffree Star Cosmetics‘ and a popular Youtube channel through which he earns millions of dollars. Further proof of his online and offline success is his latest real estate purchase in Hidden Hills.

New Mega-Compound

According to sources, the Youtube star and his partner have just closed a deal on a $14.6 million mega-compound just near their home base of Calabasas. Doing so, Star joins the ranks of celebrities like rapper Drake, actor John Stamos, and ‘momager’ Kris Jenner in the star-studded area.

Measuring at an expansive 25,000 square feet, the opulent property certainly fits the social media star’s well-known taste for the luxurious with its two attached guesthouses and massive garage, which can accommodate up to 10 cars.

The estate reportedly originally belonged to a couple, who was unfortunately hit with hard times after the recession. After being sold, the property went through various other owners before being nabbed by Star. Worth a whopping $200 million, it’s probably safe to say that money won’t be a problem for the mansion’s new resident.

Even in its exclusive location, the property is erected in a much-coveted area of Hidden Hills called Ashley Ridge. The mansion’s architecture is also described to be inspired by the French Normandy architectural style but also seems to embody the ‘mid-2000s suburban residential excess’ aesthetic. Outside, the home’s European look is further completed by the surrounding Italian cypresses as well as the formal gardens filled with manicured topiaries.

Meanwhile, its interiors don’t disappoint either. Welcoming guests is a stunning double staircase designed with wrought-iron.
